Subject: Installed your software. This can't be right.
Good god, are you serious? I've done a lot of driving in the last two days
and I'm still floored. Honestly, it's so good, I feel like something must be
wrong. I first installed the Mitsubishi 20g turbo on my car 4 (maybe 5) years
I guess I just forgot how well it used to drive before I started modifying it.
Your tuning is incredible. With **'s tuning, drivability was non-existant until
the engine was totally warm. Forget about any cold starts, they pretty much
wouldn't even happen. Your tune is the exact opposite. The motor starts without
any hesitation and pure's like a kitten. Before, normal driving was a hassle.
There was so much hesitation when taking off from a stop that sometimes I doubted
pulling out in front of traffic, at all, until the road was totally clear.
Partial throttle is perfect. I don't know how you improved that, but before
there was jerkiness all over the rev range during partial throttle. This is much
Incredible in terms of driveability. I see full boost a good 500rpm's sooner,
easily. And of course, the main reason I first called you. My CEL has not shown
back up and its been over 350 miles. Tomorrow I'll finally go pass inspection
for the first time in over a year and half. I don't really know what else to say.
It's just amazing. I would have had no problem paying double the price if I knew
how good it was going to be. I haven't had confidence in my car and its
drivability/reliability in a VERY long time and this has made all the difference.
Power delivery is so much smoother I can't figure out how the new tuning has
changed the power levels. I will admit, the gut-wrenching kick in the pants as
the boost kicks in isn't as noticable as it was before, but I attribute that to
possibly the earlier boost and a more progressive tune (instead of "On/Off" type
tuning). I'll get back on the dyno sometime this week, hopefully, and find out.
I'm really excited to compare and contrast the two tunes. Either way, your's is
by far the better way to go, hands down.
